About Dr. Ikenze
Experience Matters
As a new physician Dr. Ikenze became interested in the history of health and healing in the context of the psychosocial development of humankind, with a special interest in the place of women as nurturers, caretakers and healers. In her research and practice she sought ways of treating the whole patient as opposed to addressing symptoms. This led her to a conviction and understanding of the relationship between physiological, psychological and spiritual health. This new found understanding led to the formal study of homeopathy.

Our Philosophy
The Flow of Energy
In all living beings, there is a constant flow of energy from the innermost to the outermost layer and back again to the innermost layer . This energy is called the vital force and is the glue that holds the spirit and body together. The vital force is dependent on the spirit for its activity.
The True Nature of Disease
The spirit is dependent on the universal life force that permeates and sustains everything. When the spirit is constricted or limited in any way, the vital force will suffer and become limited. This leads us to the understanding that not all diseases originate in the physical body, even though the end result and manifestation may be physical.
Understanding the Self
In attempting to understand ourselves and the basis of many disorders it is necessary to be open to exploring our spirituality in a non-judgmental and non sectarian way, so that we can identify where we may be experiencing stagnation in our spiritual, psychic or emotional selves that results in physical and mental disorder.
Restore Unity in The Vital Force
The goal in any truly integrative treatment process is to reintegrate the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical human being and restore unity in the vital force. A well chosen homeopathic constitutional remedy, by restoring the integrity of the vital force, allows the human being to more easily be in touch with his or her innermost self and brings one face-to-face with their true essence. This can then become a springboard to deeper spiritual self-realization which can naturally empower the spirit to make and follow through on choices that will bring about emotional and physical wellness.
