1 CommentDr. Ifeoma Ikenze will give a class on women’s health in January 2010. Topics will include nutrition, herbs and homeopathy for the different stages in a woman’s life, as well as maintenance of emotional and personal balance through the different stages of life.
This class is offered through the Marin County Adult Education Program.

I recently attended the first class on Women’s Health taught by Dr Ikenze. It was an amazing class. I was able to understand the medical implications of how hormones affect our bodies and our lives because of Dr. Ikenze’s ability to put it into words and examples that we laywomen could understand.
I am thankful that after all these years, I now had information to pass on to my family as to why I was so emotionally erratic and seemingly crazy during menopause.
Twenty years ago there was little information on this important subject. Doctors were beginning to give hormone replacement. This was not an alternative for me. No one had any advice that worked for me.
My son who was quite young during that time will be quite happy to have this information. He suffered with my inability to control my emotions.
I am looking forward to the next class; we will learn what to eat and how to take care of our bodies during this difficult time.
I recommend this class to all women young, middle aged and older. We can all educate each other if we have the information.
